About Florianópolis

Florianópolis (Floripa) is the capital of Santa Catarina, sitting on an island connected to the mainland by two bridges in Southern Brazil. The island has 42 beaches across 60 km from north to south, with each corner offering a different experience: Praia Mole and Joaquina for surf, Jurerê for Argentine party scene, Campeche/Armação for nature, Lagoa da Conceição for nightlife and kitesurf. South of the island goes wild Atlantic and ecological reserves. Floripa attracts year-round digital nomads, Argentinian summer crowds, Brazilian surfers and one of South America's highest concentrations of startups.
